Make perfume visible - perfume as art
‘While art leaves its mark, perfume has an inherently immaterial dimension. The top notes, the heart notes, citrus or explosive. But there must something for the eye to take in: the bottle, the material, the vaporiser; and the box, the bed in which it lies, like an echo, an apparition, a transition to the real. Kilian and his artisans opted to risk coming down to earth, to work with silver, gold, Calais lace and lacquer; to seek ways to recharge (and not throw away); to dare to interpret what they dream, draw out the essence, immortalise. To translate with the risk of betraying, but also to reconnect. Find oneself.’

What I love about fragrance by Kilian is how their brand essence is so clear and authentic that the passion behind their fragrance really resonates with you. I looked into the collection ‘In The Garden of Good and Evil’. The collection is about the story of Eve and and how she actually held the power when the serpent thought he could wrap himself around her. Her temptress ways reminded me of how Aphrodite could control love and sex and how mythology has led us to believe crystals can help us have the inner power to alter our fate.

The description of the story is so detailed you want to buy into the story and have the strength of the Eve character portrayed - this is how I want my consumers to feel.
